24K gold plated 3.75″ brass capsule on 28″ chain

I’m stuck on creating a hallmark- even though I expect it to change over time. For me a maker’s stamp is equally as important as the object it identifies. It represents the creator’s conviction and should communicates one’s ideology. I am sharing these roughs as insight into my thought process. The square-framed line art in the second photo (shown sideways, left of seam) is the closest semblance to what I envision; a ship’s hull cutting a swell.

80 Wyeth Ave., a former 115 year old textile factory, is the location of Williamsburg’s forthcoming 50,000 sq/ft. boutique hotel.

My studio is the location of a newly salvaged, 115 year old, 2 sq/ft. butt joined anvil stump.
